• To greet all guests in a warm, friendly and courteous fashion and to maintain a professional manner at all times
• To clean assigned bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas and to ensure stocks of bathroom and bedrooms items are replenished to correct standards
• Adhering to the Hotel's very high standards of cleaning
• Working in a fast-paced environment
• Public area duties if and when required

The ideal candidates shall have previous experience working in the Accommodation Department of a Hotel property. They shall have excellent high standards of cleaning and shall be flexible with regards to working hours. Please note that this position involves both shift and weekend work, with full flexibility required.

The Killarney Plaza Hotel & Spa is currently looking the fill the following vacancies....

  • Bar Manager
We are currently recruiting for the position of Bar Manager for The Killarney Plaza Hotel. 
The Killarney Plaza Hotel is a 198 bedroom four star hotel with multiple food and beverage outlets. This is a challenging hands on role and we are looking for a manager who has experience of managing multiple outlets or who has been an Assistant Manager and is ready for a step up. 

Experience of dealing with food operations is important as is being able to manage and develop a team. This role would suit a candidate who is a self starter who generates and follow through on plans to grow and develop the business while delivering exceptional service to the customer. 

General responsibilities will involve:

Management and control of stock.
Training and developing of the bar team,
Writing rosters to suit the business requirements
Ensure compliance with cash handling and health and safety procedures
Attending weekly management meetings as required
Work with the sales team to create awareness of the bars outlets &  drive sales.
